 After putting 15 of the industry's top electric mountain bikes through their most comprehensive shootout to date, The Loam Wolf has named the 2026 INTENSE Tazer their E-MTB Trail Bike of the Year.

What the Test Looked Like

The Loam Wolf doesn't run a casual review. Their 2026 eMTB Shootout brought together 15 of the best electric mountain bikes on the market and put them through a full battery of real-world testing — geometry analysis, suspension performance, climbing capability, motor system evaluation, range testing, and all-mountain versatility across a wide variety of terrain. Their crew included experienced in-house testers alongside member riders representing a broad range of abilities and riding styles, making this one of the most thorough and honest group tests in the sport.

In one of the most competitive categories of the test, the Tazer ultimately earned top honors.
