Quiet Work. Full Power. | Jutt Wood’s INTENSE Tazer ASMR Build
There’s a quieter side to a life spent on bikes. Time at the workstand. Attention to the small details and the satisfaction of bringing a build together exactly how you want it.
For Jutt Wood, that work is familiar. He either spends his days at Downtown Cycles in Newark, OH, or working on his local trail system. Then, whenever he can, he gets out for a ride.
His latest project is a custom INTENSE Tazer. In his new ASMR build video, we settle into the process, giving the work, and its sounds, room to speak.
Once it’s off the stand, Jutt has plenty planned for it.

At the shop, on the trails
Downtown Cycles grew out of a lifelong pull toward two wheels. Jutt’s background spans BMX, mountain biking, and a little moto, and opening a shop gave him a way to turn that enthusiasm into his everyday work.
“I knew I could fix and sell bikes if I put my mind to it,” he says.
With thought, help, and input from friends and family, Downtown Cycles was born. Now approaching its 15th season, the shop still brings something different every day.
“It’s an adventure every day,” Jutt says.
Around that work, he makes time for trail maintenance, rides with friends, and quick trips whenever the schedule allows. Horns Hill and Star Hill are his regular spots at home, along with other trails around Ohio.
Lately, he’s also spent time at Jarrod’s Place in Georgia, Kanuga and other trails around Asheville, and riding spots in Tennessee.
The Tazer gets the Jutt treatment
Jutt’s build pairs a Bosch Performance Line CX drive unit and 800Wh battery with FOX Factory suspension, SRAM X0 AXS T-Type Transmission, and his own mix of components.
It’s a personal setup for a varied riding routine. Flow trails, jumps, drops, and long trail rides all feature in Jutt’s time on the Tazer.
“This bike is so good!” he says. “The new Bosch Performance Line CX drive unit is so powerful.”
He’s equally enthusiastic about the geometry and how the bike handles the different terrain he rides.

Planted, but still responsive
Jutt also owns a Tracer and an M1, so the Tazer joins a lineup already well acquainted with his favorite trails.
The biggest difference he notices is the weight. He describes the Tazer as feeling more planted, while remaining responsive when he moves it around on the trail.
“I’m pretty much riding a lot of the same trails that I would on my Tracer and M1,” he says.
That familiar terrain gives him a chance to experience it in a different way. And while he enjoys plenty of different trails, flow and jump trails have become his favorites on the Tazer.
